Mission
Upon completion of the Ed.D. program in Educational Leadership, graduates will be well-positioned for leadership roles in P-12 schools, educational agencies, higher education, as well as leading learning and development in non-profits and corporations. They will have a solid foundation in research and theory, have leveraged that knowledge in practical application, and explored the application of the Franciscan values of compassion, wisdom, and integrity in leadership efforts.
Goals

- Apply knowledge and skills to real-world educational settings.
- Engage in ethical practice in educational leadership.
- Manifest the Franciscan values of compassion, wisdom, and integrity in educational leadership activities.
Admission Requirements
Applicants for the program must have:
- A master’s degree
- Five years of professional experience
- A 3.0 graduate school GPA (or a 2.5-2.9 GPA may be admitted on a provisional basis)
- Two letters of recommendation
- A 750-1,000 word statement of purpose
- An interview with faculty may be requested
